- upto 2 years of experience - 4 lacs per annum
- 2-4 years of experience - 4-7 lacs per annum
- 4-6 years of experience - 7-9 lacs per annum
- 6-10 years of experience - 9 - 12 lacs per annum.
Please remember that salary structure also depends upon the company in which you are working. Large investment banks like JPMC, BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley and product based companies like sungard, symantec tend to pay little bit higher than service based companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro etc.
Software engineers usually switch the companies to get a good hike in salary. They usually get 20-50 % hike depending upon market sentiments and economy state.
