Pineapple Cake in Oven like Monginis

Cakes are usually cut on special occasions like birthdays and anniversarries etc. Monginis cake brand is very popular in India. But overall process to make cake remains same across the world. On broad level, cakes are divided into 2 categories - Vegan (Also called as Eggless) and Non-Vegan

Ingredients required for making Pineapple cake

  1. For making Cake base - All purpose flour / plain flour – 1 cup, Sugar – 1/2 cup, Milk – 1/4 cup, Salt to taste,  Baking powder – 1 tsp, (Egg if you want to make non-vegan cake)
  2. For decoration - Whipping cream – 2 Cups, Vanilla essence, Pineapples Syrup

Please follow below steps to make Pineapple Cake

  1. Making the Cake base/ Batter - In this step, you need to use all purpose flour. Mix warm water with Sugar and milk. Then add baking powder in it. Whisk the mixture and make the fluffy batter out of the mixture. Bake the batter in oven at 200 degree celcius for 30-40 minutes. After the cake is ready, take it out of oven and let it cool down for around 1-2 Hours.
  2. Decorating the cake- In this step, You need to cut the cake in 2 parts horizontally. Then apply whipping cream + Vanilla essence + Pineapples Syrup evenly on each part and all over the cake as well. Place the pineapple slices on the top of cake. You can draw whatever design you like using piping bags and nozzles.
