Quantifiers in English Grammar

Below quantifiers can be used in English.

1. all
2. most
3. some
4. any
5. none
6. much
7. many

Please note that much and little are used with uncountable nouns while many and few are used with countable nouns.

Examples are given below.

1. All students participated in dancing competition.
2. Most of the students played sports.
3. Some students pass the exam.
4. None of the students went on a trip.
5. I do not want any of these mobiles.
6. I have got much milk.
7. I have many pens.
8. I have little milk.
9. I have got few pens.
10. I have a lot of milk and pens.
11. How much water do you need?
12. How much money do you want?
13. How many books did you read?
14. I need little water.
15. I need few books.
