- Large Cap ( > 1000 cr)
- Mid Cap (between 200 and 1000 crore)
- Small Cap (<200 cr)
Above categories are based upon market capitalization.
Market Capitalization of the company = no of shares * current market price of each share.
For example - RIL is a large cap company because it's market capitalization is greater than 1000 crore.
